

The Fall of Gondolin, INot ever had winter given its last breaths in the promise of a more beautiful year since the time of the Lily of the Plain’s foundation. Gondolin was as fair as ever, and with all things wrought with the skill and subtlety of the Noldor, the stone of song was become fairer with each year. In the valley that lay about the proud city flowers of every clime, shade, and hue blossomed amongst verdant meadows. Uilos was there, which was also called Alfirin, for it knew neither the bite of winter, nor draught of summer. Once upon a college eve

To A Fellow PoetYou then, to whom our sudden meeting do we owe? Good Zephyrs’ streams glorify the Southern Sky, And those ancient bards we yearn to know Have drawn our powers forth- now we sit nigh One another, and in our company doth sit Pausanias, Ovid, and all the minstrelsy’s former might. There stands Urania in the sky, her spirit Veiled by the majesty of Phoebus’ yet greater light. And sings there Freyia – the aura of her tune Which strives our ears to please is of forgotten lands Where the argent glory of Ilmarë is on the moon And where arcane music rolls in waning strands. Big news is, my real computer is thrashed and I need a new HD. Thankfully I was able to back up all of my poetry on a friend's PC before mine died. Because of this poetry submissions and activity on my part shall be limited.
" Ike was a sturdy skraeling hare
Disporteth through the Greene
Ik Scoopen-up the fielden mice
And smacken 'em on the heede
And wo' - oh wo' the tragedye
That I ha' comen to,
For I was caught by the Fayerye Queene
And Now I am a goon.
Twas in the merrye month of May
That nones je dy vous.
In fielden and in forest trae
The sely bestes iroone.
Zephyrus with his sleighte breathe
Eek maken stryf for me ;
Ik ken ' twould be fair playynge
To maketh subiltee. "
